The Board of Trustees, along with other leadership in our Church, appreciates all who were able to attend our Annual Business Meeting on January 30, 2013. We believe the Lord used this time to bring clarity, focus, and resolve to God's plans for our church family. We know there are some who could not attend this meeting and we want to extend communication to these as well. If you would like to review the minutes frm this meeting please contact the church office. Your leadership teams are available to you and please contact us with any questions or input on the key messages. Email questions can be sent to the attention of Derek Mercer, our Executive Administrator, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The Board of Trustees, along with other leadership in our church family, are excited about the opportunities that we have ahead for Christ the Redeemer Church. The walls of our church have been strengthened and people are taking their place on the wall to fulfill the plans God has for us in our church family and in our community. Our word for this year is "Release" and we are seeing signs early this year of God releasing His Spirit to us and equipping us to the Great Commission in areas all around us. In Isaiah 61 the word speaks of release and the year of God's favor. There is a release of focus and momentum on the Missions Outreach as a new written missions plan is being prepared. Jerry Williamson, President of Go To Nations, has been instrumental in equipping us through Global Pathways Workshop and follow up with our Mission Advancement Team to further develop protocol and procedures for a first class Missions Program.
In our finances, we are seeing a positive trend in giving and attendance. These are key elements in the process of refinancing of our mortgage which is currently being pursued. The financial wall of the church is critical to reaching our goals for the church and the community. We desire to be a "giving force in the community" as Pastor Sean has challenged us. Out of the gathering of the saints at CRC is an overflow to others. We prayerfully seek God on this major event of refinancing and on the finances of all the individual families within our body.
Our prayer time together on Wednesday nights is coming into a new season of bold and consistent prayers. We are using the Circle Maker by Mark Batterson as an impetus to standing firm in faith and being intentional on circling in prayer those God places on our hearts. This is an amazing time of making a difference in the lives of others.
Looking forward to the things of God in this year of 2013! We circle our prayers around you for God's blessings for your lives, your family, your businesses, our church and our community.

Christ the Redeemer Church
In this wonderful Christmas season, we are thankful for the family at Christ the Redeemer Church and all the God-given dreams and hopes contained in each life. Our journey together is one of hope in Christ and our vision is to follow closely as the Lord leads us in His word. Our prayer is that you and your family will be greatly blessed in this season and await next year with great expectancy of good things to come.
As we begin to see this year close out, we want to share some financial steps with you. The first phase of our audit is close to complete and we should have the results shortly. There will be a second phase of audit beginning in January. We are planning an Annual Family Meeting in late January to review financial matters and any other church family matters to attend to. As soon as the final date is placed on the church calendar, we will notify the congregation for planning their schedule.
There is ongoing planning and meeting with financial institutions as we are in the process of a refinancing of our mortgage before mid April 2013. You will hear more about this at our Annual Family Meeting but we do ask for prayer and favor over planning for this important transaction.
Once a year we have a Shepherd's Offering to bless our pastoral staff and the offering will be on Sunday, December 16. God has given us very talented pastoral staff that has a heart after God. They serve in many ways to provide spiritual leadership, encourage, and love us. Some of the things they do for our church family are very visible and other things are ways that are less visible as they reach out to minister to the many needs that arise. They have a love for each of us in the church family and want to see us reach our destiny in Christ. We are thankful for them and glad to have the opportunity to sow back into their lives. Let us encourage them with a financial gift to bless them and their families.
In getting to know your Board of Trustees, you will find their pictures and brief descriptions of their background and talents on our new website. We will be displaying pictures as well in the building so you may know the members of this team who seek to serve Christ the Redeemer Church in this season.
Thank you to each of you serving and sowing into Christ the Redeemer Church. You are greatly appreciated .
In the love of Christ,
