Lissa's responsibilities include Membership 101, Greeters, and the Get Connected visitor's reception. Additional ministries Lissa is involved with include: Women Alive Women's Ministry, Life Groups and assisting her husband Bowen, CRC Children's Pastor with all major events for the children's ministry.
Some of her ministry experience includes co-pastoring in youth ministry; Young Life Leader for four years; certified Evangelism Explosion Teacher; and assisting as a care group leader for young married couples or five years. For the past 16 years, Lissa has been laying her life down in ministry for children, teens and adults alike, helping them pursue God's will for their lives.
Whether serving at home or on staff at the church, Lissa is passionate about people being plugged into the local church. She believes all of us have a place where God wants, and can use, our gifts and talents. And as her husband proudly says, "She's a 'Proverbs 31' woman!"
Married for 13 years, she is the proud mother of Elizabeth, 10, Ethan, 9, and Tommy, 4. When she is not taking care of her family or working at the church, her time for herself may include shopping (but only if it is 50% off!), getting her nails done (what a treat!), Starbucks Chai Lattes, or munching on her favorite, anything chocolate!
